Ninja's chopper has over 5,000 five star reviews on Amazon and we can totally see why. It's a super powerful and speedy tool — running at 4,000 revolutions per minute — but is still compact enough not to take up too much space in your kitchen. The best part? It's really simple to use. No fiddly features or complicated parts to wrestle with — just insert the blade, pop on the top, press the pulse button, and you’ll have perfectly sliced and diced food in seconds.
It comes with two 500ml capacity cups as well as matching splash guards and lids. That means you can create dips, sauces or salads and store them away for when you need them, making the Ninja a fantastic option for party food prep. They’re also stackable, which is a hugely convenient feature that will save you space in your cupboards or fridge.

This manual chopper comes with four different blades that can chop, dice and spiral your produce, opening up a bunch of new and interesting ways to prepare fresh fruit and veg (courgette noodles are totally the in-thing right now). The blades are made from durable stainless steel that's simple to clean and completely rust-resistant.
It has a roomy container that makes it really easy to prepare plenty of food in advance, saving you time and stress when you’ve got that big family dinner or want to wow your date with your top-notch cooking skills. It comes decked out with a bunch of neat features, such as two speed settings and a whisk accessory that's perfect for whipping up tasty treats. The basin also has a drizzle feature that allows you to trickle in liquids like olive oil or vinegar to elevate your creations.
The coolest thing about the KitchenAid vegetable chopper? It's completely cordless. That means you aren't restricted to the part of the kitchen with a plug socket — you can chop and dice wherever you like. At less than £10, this JIANFA food chopper is a no-brainer. It's compact enough to easily fit anywhere in your kitchen but still packs a punch when it comes to food prep. All you need to do to chop your ingredients is pop on the lid and pull the durable nylon cord. Yes, it's that simple. The more times you pull the cord, the finer your food will be chopped, so you can easily achieve the perfect consistency.
Washing up after cooking can be such a chore, but as this vegetable chopper only has three parts you can get cleaned up in record time. It also has a non-slip silicone base that is designed to grip your countertop, so you don't have to worry about it going flying when you’re trying to chop your veg.

Tefal's mini vegetable chopper is a cute and compact device that is perfect for small kitchens. It comes with three attachments that are designed to chop, crush and emulsify, allowing you to whip up a whole bunch of different recipes with only one handy tool. It has a whopping 500W power capacity, too, so you know this chopper is definitely up to the task.
It features an anti-splash foot that helps to protect your worktops from spills and stains (and, thankfully, limits clean-up time). We think the bright green, orange and yellow accents would add a fun pop of colour to any kitchen.

In our opinion, definitely! They take so much hassle out of food preparation which, for many people, is one of the biggest barriers to cooking at home. You can chop vegetables and other ingredients super quickly and with minimal mess, which is great if you dread cleaning up (and who doesn't?). Vegetable choppers also tend to be much safer than using a kitchen knife, as they generally have safety features that protect you from sharp blades.
Food choppers make slicing and dicing fruit and veg so much easier, and are definitely a great investment regardless of your cooking skill level.
All our choices are fantastic options, but we are particularly keen on KitchenAid Cordless Food Chopper as it has a ton of useful features that make food prep quick and easy. We also love that it's cordless, which means you aren't limited by power cable length or socket position. Another great option is the JIANFA Manual Food Chopper, which is low on price but big on chopping power.
