Here's How Martha Stewart Gets Crafty With Vodka During Dry January

Jan 04, 2024

Who knew a bottle of Tito's could be such a great meat tenderizer?

For many people, the start of the new year also signifies the start of Dry January, when participants give up booze for an entire month. But if those bottles of vodka glaring at you from your bar cart already have you dreaming of a martini, Martha Stewart has some ideas that could help you out.

This week, Tito's vodka announced that it has partnered with Stewart to launch what they're calling "DIY January," a quirky take on Dry January. As the queen of crafts, cooking, and so much more, Stewart is here to show us how we can get crafty with vodka by using it for everyday household tasks like cleaning and even meat tenderizing instead of drinking.

"Hey, I get it. It's Dry January, so you're not drinking much," said Stewart in a video for the campaign. "But if you've got Tito's lying around, don't just stare at it, use it. Say goodbye to musty smells. Add it to your pasta sauce for a little extra kick...Spice up your Friday night by cutting through dirt and grime. And nothing tenderizes your meat like Tito's."

If you're eager to put your bottle of vodka to good use with one of Stewart's hacks, Tito's is launching a limited-edition collection of DIY January bottle-topper attachments. The attachments included in the collection, which is available for purchase for $10, are "The Deodorizer," "The Flavorizer," and "The Cleanerizer."

Who knew that Martha Stewart would be the one to pull us through Dry January?
